    For a period when we were around 16/17 our Saturday nights were always the same because it was the only places we could all be assured of getting in Wordies-Tappit Hen- Buskers

    Where was the bar near the Carmelite where Kitty in the dress use to drink?

    Home over Christmas and the pubs in the quay are all gone. Crown & Anchor, Cutters Wharf, Yardarm, Glenlivet. regent Bridge still going though.

    One of my favourites. The Highland Hotel is no more. Immediatley. Spent manyban afternoon in there watching fitba

    Thats a shame. I stayed there a few times as it was usually my prefered choice for staying on visits back to Aberdeen.

    Usually full of oil workers, would have thought that would have seen it ok.

    I went in for a few prior to a Banks O Dee game in November for old times sake. Turns oot it was my swansong

    Gone of the days of every hotel within a 50 mile radius was full. Still gets a bit busy when the weather is crap offshore but most nights you can get an airport room from £60 or so.

    F@ck the airport. Why the f@ck are there so many hotels there

    That night in November there were ten in the bar and i was the only non offshore guy there. There were also a few eating

    The Highland Hotel havent commented. It might nae be financial
