    I actually remember Bella's bar on East North St they sold draught Sherry by the pint. Right next to the Lodging House where I worked.

    Ah my mum used to go in there we my aunty Lizzie Hearns was a bar mostly for the down and outs bar used to close at 10pm but they would share a bottle of four crown in the small arched lane next to it after closing time.

    I was only about 8 I remember them having a sing a long in the bar with old time war songs I thought at the time that was amazing .

    They were truly good people.

    My Auntie works there.

    No idea if its true but the word is when the extension is built at Union Sq they are moving down there.

    Apparently footfall is falling every year.

    I remember that monstrosity being built as the new coapy when I was a loon.

    Even then I thought, what an eyesore.

    They'll be knocking it down if John Lewis leave. Nobody else would move into such a great big shop.

    Not into your Brutalist architecture then? I think Coapy building should be list and preserved. It has a beauty and majesty missing from the Bon-Accord or Union Square buildings for instance
