    Do you eat turkey? No, a Swedish ”Julbord” consists of, among other things; different types of herrings and salmon, ham, meatballs, sausages, different types of cabbages and many more things that would be a bit tricky to find an English equivalence to.

    Is your 'Big Day' the 25th. Nope, Christmas Eve, the 24th, is the big day when presents are exchanged etc.

    A big holiday where people spend it with their families, in the north of Sweden there is def a real Winter landscape and climate (not so much in the south where I live, though more of a real Winter here than in England of course).

    Xmas tree and Xmas decorations, yes.
