And with Ferguson missing too, he'll want him in the midfield to give them a bit of "legs" as Ball & Gleeson would be too immobile.
I'd take a smelly 1-0 dirgefest right now as their record at home against the "top" teams is far better than ours.

    0-0 Celtic
    1-0 SEVCO
    2-0 Hibs
    5-0 Hearts

No defeats and no goals against.
But how can they do that with their miserly budget? How dare they attack the opposition in big matches...it’s not what McInnes believes so it must be wrong.

The secret to Livi's success is in the nil part of the scores. Something we used to be decent at but now an area where we are struggling. When was the last time the tinks failed to score against us in a meaningful game? We have a huge inferiority complex against them and there is no sign of that coming to an end.

Watching them pass the ball about at the back when they aren't that great at it, watching Boyata go over the halfway line before any pressure applied and still Scott Brown finds pockets of space - how many times has this been tried with the same result?
How many times did we get the ball down and try to play through them today?

Negatives today- tactics, defending- all of the back 4 were suspect at times. Why did McKenna try to tackle with his left foot at the 3rd goal? Less said about Ball and Logan at the 4th. But as we were man for man, how many times did Considine get pulled out of position by Christie or McGregor, especially 1st Half? At one point, he was 20 yards inside Celtic half then laboured back. He wasn't the worst.
Scott Wright- had high hopes for the boy but going backwards every game. Positionally very poor and doesn't make the right decisions.
Summed up our general lack of creative quality.

Positives- Lewis Ferguson - not afraid to get stuck in - same for Stevie May who was taking that 1st pen regardless of Cosgroves recent scoring run.
Cosgrove proved a handful first half, but faded a bit in the second.
McGinn - thought he did alright in his 45minutes- when he went off the quality that we did have up front disappeared
Agree with a lot of this. I watched the second half of the game with my brother in law who is a Hibs supporter. He said Aberdeen looked like the away side and he was right in that. We gave Celtic all the possession and invited them to come at us which is what they love to do. Instead of being in their face which would gee up the crowd who at that stage were very quiet. When teams like Hibs, Killie and Hearts have beaten Celtic this season they have done it by getting right in their faces and harrying them into making mistakes. Give them easy possession and they will beat you as they have better players. Del is not brave enough to try that at home. Our record against them since he came here is simply appalling and embarrassing. You would think that would make him change tactics but he never does. That said the defence were dreadful yesterday. Conso is never a left back and Shinnie should have been playing there. Forrest must have been delighted to see who he was up against and Logan, not for the first time this season was very poor. We were flattered by the result and will not beat them until McInnes grows a pair. It is the same in Europe where he is not prepared to have a right go and we always fall short.

Terrible records all around but only three wins in the last twenty which is even worse. Nothing to be proud of in those stats.

It gets worse when you see his stats against Teeth as Celtic manager.
