You are bigging it up JR. Be honest, we played second fiddle throughout the game. No "floating" fan today would be attracted back to watch Queens. Devoid of any creativity, skill, and goal threat it was a point gained that was scarcely deserved. Will take it though! Forget the play offs, with this negative containing approach towards what appears to be every game now......Eight place looks like the managers target!

I didn't think I was bigging it up. Anyway, it's hard to tell whether we were defensive or getting pushed back. Ayr are obviously better with the ball than us and so we had to do a lot of chasing back the way and across the pitch.

We will take the point but tbh Ayr United were the better team and they will be kicking themselves that they could not put Queens away despite having the leagues leading scorer Shankland - our 11 that started are imo our best team but
there is nothing on the bench -reinforcements needed badly. !

Agree with all that pal. Low coming in gives us another option and hopefully added to one or two loans.

Shankland has failed to score against Queens in 270 minutes...

Yes a draw against a high flying team is a good result on paper but didn't the manager think we could beat them or something?
We stuck 5 past them going on 10 last time at home! One player down from then but why the need to be a shrinking violet when we didn't really need to be?

This not losing games might appear good but we are starting to edge down the table.

Second best for the majority of this game which clearly illustrated the shortfalls associated with this limited squad of players with a complete absence of creativity throughout. Hopefully Low will fill the gap in midfield caused by Harkins defection and we really do need to add further to the team in January otherwise the playoffs will be just a dream bases on today's display as we seem to be trying to feed off scraps from the continual long balls up front to the tireless dykes. Clearly a fit Dobbie can only help.
