It's not a democracy, and it is not run along the lines set out in the Communist Manifesto either (if it ever was)... that's just the name on the tin. It is integrated into the world capitalist system now though, and Trump regards it as an economic rival - hence the USA trade restrictions on China.

But thanks for posting. It confirms I overestimated your understanding of the situation. In truth you actually havent got a clue what is happening in China US relations (the stories of China banning Christmas is emanating from this dispute) and you have no idea whats going on in the Trump administration (I thought you must have picked the story up from one of the evangelical publications in the US). But, in truth, you probably saw a headline somewhere and ran with it without any real background understanding (your reply is based on a personal insult that belies any real understanding and gives the game away).
