    Pathetic

Another day, another 1-0 defeat and we can have no complaints again.

Obviously losing three players within the first 25 minutes is a hammer blow but typical of the way things are going for us just now and of course, all the best to Charles Dunne as that looked a bad one but none of that can be used as any sort of excuse.

We were clueless and created nothing and Kilmarnock were totally comfortable and deserved their win.

Special mention to Curtis Main for his part in today's debacle, as not only did he turn in yet another stinker, he idiotically got himself red carded by raising his hands right in front of the ref. Absolute madness.

I don't care what Robinson bumbles out about battling showings, positives to take, that was awful and anyone who was there will know that there was absolutely nothing for anyone of a Motherwell persuasion to take from that today.

Ive seen it mentioned on other forums that we resemble Hibs free fall of 2014 when they were relegated and that's not far off the mark at all, the similarities are scrlarily evident.

Today was the sort of day that if everything was going fine you'd just shrug off. But it's not going fine and the trouble with setting yourself up with three 'points' games is that you have no safety net and no excuse when things go wrong. And it's worth noting that Killie - rather unnecessarily - just seemed happy killing the game off, they'd have no complaints had we mugged them. But we didn't of course and beyond two half chances, we didn't lay a finger on them despite being invited to do so for an hour.

This game will not get Robbo sacked and nor should it but it adds up....and that's without judging him on a team selection which screamed desperation.

Saturday is massive and there's little to say it will go well.

Make no mistake it bloody well should. We’re in this position due his feckless team selection and lack of any tactical strategy.
Should have been shown the door after the St Mirren match ... a horrific performance.
Aware the eejit serving 3 match ban and sat in stand, but why sulk back seats before going awol. Robinson should have sat front row and seen. I think a decision been made regards his future.

What's gone before may well be enough to get him sacked, we will see shortly. But a solid, if uninspired, showing when down to the fifth-choice centre half against a team in Killie's form will never be the final piece of straw.

Defeat at Hamilton on Saturday SHOULD only mean one thing and that is Motherwell FC have parted company with their manager, doesn’t matter werher we lose to a hotly disputed penalty,a scrappy goal/own goal he would/should go. Our tactics, fitness, and results so far this season would have had other managers sacked by now. We can’t justify keeping him because we reached two cup finals last year. We look like a team who are totally devoid of how to put the ball in the net and the recurring theme just now seems to be lose the first goal and the game is over

t's horrendous to think that in home games against Accies, St.Johnstone, St.Mirren and Kilmarnock this season, they have all finished in 1-0 defeats. These clubs are our 'peers' and not the big spending city clubs that we are always told we cannot compete with so to be losing at home to them in that manner, and they have followed an almost identical pattern, is relegation material.

Robinson is now under massive pressure to pull some big, season saving signing out of the hat in January, similar to what he did a year ago, but it's always a tough task in this window in mid season to find players who are available, affordable and who will actually make the difference. Given the utter disaster that was the summer transfer window then you've got to think that SR has alot of ground to make up, because he set the tone for this season with his shambolic dealings over last summer.

Robinson reminds me P.T. Barnum who conned public by promoting celebrated hoaxes.
He has brought in salaried crap, many who will walk away January having never improved a squad he built. We finished last season Bottom 6 and this season appears no different and time for us to spiral further towards relegation.
Personally I would not trust his player judgement with additional funds and NOW the ideal time to part company.

Kilmarnock should have won far more comfortably than they did yesterday as they were content to sit back and make life easy for themselves content in the knowledge we wouldn't score. Certainly it was a calamitous opening 30 minutes and I just hope the Dunne, Mbulu and McHugh are ok. In any event I'm not convinced that the changes made to the team selection, before the game, would have made a jot of a difference. For the most part we weren't short on effort just short on quality and organisation - our midfield was a shambles. A special mention to Richard Tait who hada towering game in defence.

Saturday now takes on huge significance and another defeat would mean we lost 3 games out 3 over the festive period. Simply not acceptable.

We need creativity up front, whether that be Robinson or any other manager. You can't legislate for what happened yesterday, three center half's going off in the first 25 minutes certainly doesn't help. And the goal Killie scored was cross. Saying that, we never laid a glove on them the same as we never laid a glove on St mirren and countless other teams this season. We badly need player's with a bit of pace and creativity. the only striker I would keep would be Johnson as I think given decent service he would get us goals. the rest can do one. Robinson has to get this transfer window correct or it will cost him his job.

Aye, Robinson likes solid and dependable but ultimately dull players. His signigns confirm that. We do need more pace and creativity in the midfield and up front. Players to make and score goals.
