Im watching a war film where the British Army are erecting a Bailey Bridge. I heard this was invented in Rotherham. Wondering of any other top inventions from our great Town.

Guest and Chrimes invented the Screw Down High Pressure Water Tap, hence the building can't be knocked down.
The iconic red post box was invented by author Anthony Trollope and said to be based on his wife who was round, red-faced and from Rotherham, but that's nonsense as they were originally green.
