    Q&A from new owner

    Q&A on Utd official page.

New owner comes across well and gave some decent answers to questions.

Was just away to post this. Very happy with with what I’ve read, seems that promotion this year is very very important to his plans for united. Hopefully that means a couple of quality signings in January!

Cautiously optimistic, I wonder who the new local representatives on the ground will be? I hope there are no nasty surprises.

The one thing I pick up there is the need to appoint a Managing Director to handle the 'commercial and business' sides of the running of the Club? This of course beggars the long standing question of 'What the actual phuck then does Southern actually do for his 100k salary?'.

honest, to the point, clear he will be remote and not a micro manager (the MD seems like who will run day to day so he is owner who will allow his staff to do their jobs). I like it - if this is all true our future is bright!

His targets; 1) promotion 2) stay up 3) establish the club in the top six 4) genuinely competitive in the domestic cup competitions. And 5) compete in European competition.

Brilliant! Give me all of that please.

Targets 2 to 5 all predicated on achieving target #1. Promotion this year.

That's a BIG job. Let's hope Robbie can work some magic in January.

I think the top target is make money from his investment. That's a tougher ask than he may imagine I'd suggest...

Exactly. As I said in another thread, which Scottish football club, bar Celtic, actually makes money?
