Well for a start I don’t think he does the actual signing does he isn’t that someone else’s job?

Second Warne says on a interview he’s going to talk to a player tomorrow, so yes I think if it’s already sorted out between clubs ahead of talks he could be signed before the Man City game. Realistically though the chance of that is slim
