I don’t know if it was just because the ground was smaller & you noticed them more but the place did attract some absolute belters

Stunning place in a stunning city in a stunning country

Shame i got a 0-0 when i was there. Austria Vienna 0-0 AEK Athens
Went to see Rapid Vienna at their old stadium (Gerhard Hanappi) in 2014 right before they closed it. Game vs Red Bull Salzburg, which Rapid one 3-1. Totally agree on Vienna, it's a belter of a city, as is Salzburg. Went to the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, saw Roma vs Sienna and got to see Totti play, boy was a magician. Favourite ground in Scotland was the old Tannadice when we were putting the boots to the Pikeys.

Most of the "old" grounds were much much better than their replacements or upgrades.

East End Park. Boghead. Brockville. Muirton. Annfield. Easter Road, Tynecastle. Bayview. And you'd have to include the "old" Pittodrie.

The old Old Trafford circa 1972 was good - not so much now. The old Stamford Bridge was mental. Not been to the new version.

Favourite ground with Aberdeen? Rijeka (as stated above - just wonderful)
    Favourite "new" Scottish ground? Tynecastle
Favourite all-time Scottish ground? Cathkin (was only there once and this vote is for nostalgia)
Favourite European ground? San Siro (when full!). Seville a close second.

    Least favourite ground? Celtic Park.

Very few grounds can compete with Old Trafford. Been there a few times with absolutely crackling atmosphere. My current fave.

For old time nostalgia I just used to love going to Tannadice in the 80's. That steep terracing was just mental. Atmosphere from our end was just ace.

Brockville on a Tuesday night in November.

Nothing beats the views of Beechwood Park on a Summer day.

Well, I was at the 7-1 v Roma and the 4-1 v Blackburn in 2007 and the place was phucking rocking. Best bounce I'd had in years. So, Pac and Simmy's mate are talking p!sh. The stadium design is outstanding and holds 76000. It's MY fave so you can shut up and sit down ....
