    Swans v Wigan

Last time out we made six changes against Villa and lost by a solitary goal after missing a penalty.
We have a chance to redeem ourselves today as the games are coming thick and fast.
Wigan are on a bad run, even worse than us, so it’s a chance to pick up some much needed points.
With a game away at Reading next Tuesday, I am expecting that the players will be rotated again.
The downfall of this is that we cannot get a settled side.
Routledge is doubtful, Carroll is still out injured and Ollson is out for the rest of the season..
No chance of second guessing the team Potter will pick today, so let’s just hope he gets it right and we get the 3 points.

Well that was a disaster wasn’t it.
Suicidal 3-5-2 formation with Academy players Harries and Baker-Richardson coming in and Routledge returning.
The players didn’t know how to play the system, it’s been tried before by Potter without success.
Wigan were all over us, capitalising on our hesitancy and were two goals up half time, could have been three or four. A penalty on 10’ fired home by Garner and a headed goal by Garner again on 34’ from a corner.
Harries and B-R replaced at half time by Naughton and Montero and we reverted to our usual 4-4-2/4-5-1.
An own goal turned in by Burn from a corner by Grimes brought us back into the match on 59’. Bony replaced Fulton on 76’, and VdH equalised with a header on 79’, but we just could not get the winner. Carter-Vickers hit the post in injury time.
Great turnaround but what was Potter thinking,we would have won that match if it wasn’t for his tinkering.
