How on earth does he justify his selection?
Still lots of pointing and hand gesturing avoiding the obvious ... he is the weak link in our defence and, catastrophic, as centre back. At least Gibbo had a go at him a couple of times, but I’m afraid it’s water of the ducks back.
He is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. Clearly his playing colleagues see it and the team are not ‘as one’ when he plays.
To give him some credit, he pulled his weight better in the latter part of the game, but he remains a disaster at centre back.

I agree with you he played better with about 30 minutes to go but until then the defence looked poor again. It cannot be a coincidence that we look dire in defence whenever he plays.
