No room for sentiment as our players are paid good money, but some, and I class Taylor as one who are not PL standard at the moment.

P.S. Why the photo of Charlie Adam ?

I just added it because that is about as good as we will get! Well spotted Alto - Terrier Taxis on standby.

Does transfer opportunity extend to Danish league? Try Awer Mabil (Sudanese born Australian Socceroo) playing for FC Midtjylland. Has scored twice in two for Australia in Asian Cup in the past week, well worth a look. Dribbles a la Sterling, would work well alongside Dwight! Would pick him up pretty cheaply, check out some footage if interested. Note, he's one of the best going round for Australia at the moment, green but could blossom at Burnley? Aussie bias here, though not usually so bullish about what Aussies offer to EPL. Mooy and Ryan the exceptions.

Yep. Has a great shot on him and has enough skill to show he will improve even more with the right coaching.

Scored a great goal for Australia against Syria in the Asian Cup last night.

Supports mental health so could do very well on this forum!

Don't worry our Recruitment team are all over him and others, they hunt every nook and cranny and leave no stone unturned with Clubs worried when their phone goes with thoughts of BFC coming for one of their assets, and we have brought in someone called Rigg just to put any doubters minds at rest, as long as they don't realise his first interview at BFC was the same one churned out when he was at Q P R and later Fulham (They did well didn't they), Don't worry though, Garlick will lead us into the Wilderness of the Championship and below with the knowledge of having a training ground fit for the PL and being one of the top 10 Clubs who are self sufficient and not in the red.. . . . . …. . . .. . . . . . . . For the time being... . . . . .

Had a very serious conversation with one of Turf Moor "sources" who is pretty much in the know, conversation went like this:

We are not spending money for the sake of it.

We have a squad big enough and good enough to remain competitive this season.

We will continue to develop our youngsters and add to them if the quality is identified.

We will be trying to buy young players who have real EPL potential.

We will only buy players for the first team squad who are better than we already have.

We have identified two positions where we need to strengthen in depth and we will hopefully have them into Gawthorpe before the January window closes.

Sounds like a plan to me!

"We will only buy players for the first team squad who are better than we already have."

Every manager in the world says this, and then proceeds to buy players who are bobbins. We are no exception, in fact we make a speciality of it, I don't need to name them do I ?

We are not spending money for the sake of it. = "We will continue with the philosophy of Bob Lord, the difference being we are in Harrods now but will continue wanting to pay Primark prices".

We have a squad big enough and good enough to remain competitive this season. ="When the team can be arsed we are competitive, although I have to admit, I have cancelled appointments for specsavers for the last 10 months"

We will continue to develop our youngsters and add to them if the quality is identified. = We have the training facilities but unfortunately our scout has too much area to cover".

We will be trying to buy young players who have real EPL potential. As in the first question/answer, we will not pay exorbitant prices for something that is not a cast Iron certainty".

We will only buy players for the first team squad who are better than we already have. = Which leaves a lot of players out there we need, but it sounds good when I say it fast".

We have identified two positions where we need to strengthen in depth and we will hopefully have them into Gawthorpe before the January window closes. = "Again my eyesight is not good but 2's a good number, and hopefully if we can raise our poor first, second, third and fourth offer quick enough to match their valuation we'll have them in by the last day, and hopefully Dyche fit to play by May".

Sounds like a plan to me! = "I'll swallow anything they feed me, Anything".

Yeah... this «source» is not really giving anything away now is he... the two positions I guess is CM and a possible replacment for JBG.
SuperSub you seem to know your way around the youth and development teams... Are there any promising CM players??
