Apologies, I've been informed this is no longer the case, the pensioner has been released from his duties and a full time member of staff now mans the phone, Mr Rigg I believe his name is.

Sean Dyche churning out the same old same old that it does not look like we will sign anyone, "There were a couple of situations that we thought we could open up but couldn't, so there's nothing that close at the moment. We all know it's a tough window."

I wonder if Dyche has gone digital with his recordings, or still using the cassette tape.

So if that is the case then IMO that is at least 2 Windows wasted with the team/squad needing replacements, well done Garlick, you deserve all the flack that may be coming your way.

But it was patently obvious that nothing would happen in the incoming transfer game as I posted way back.

I did think we would get one loanee though so you could call me a super optimist.

A struggling Prem side fighting relegation and getting one loanee--seemed about right for Burnley FC.

At least with a new tech director it takes the heat of SD and Garlick--doesn't it? Because that was the purpose.
