Steve tha nivver knows what's rarnd corner mate. A know tha upset but in the remainder of this month we have a chance to replace him and redress the balance. If the situation stays the same and a satisfactory replacement int in ar dressing room come Feb 1st then I think that's the time to ev a good rant.

Remember same happened wi Bradshaw in August but goat bought Woodrow as replacement.

We sold Bradshaw in August and Woodrow didn't kick a ball until December.
We played nearly 2 months with one fit striker (who nobody seems to rate).
We've sold Potts on 3rd day of the window, we want a replacement this week. Not by 1st of Feb.
We've got a run of winnable games coming up. we need to win them, not be saying we could have won them if we hadn't sold Potts etc etc.

That's all well and good Pass but the club statement said :

To increase sustainability and short term investment .

That suggests we aren't going to see a proper replacement , we are going to stick a plaster on it and hope it comes off .

We are 4th in the league with an eye on automatic promotion , it's hard to take after the January 2017 debacle .

We keep our better players and give ourselves the best opportunity to get back to the championship and pick up the bigger tv revenue recently agreed with Sky .

If we fail this season then I get it but Potts will still be a £1.5m player in June just the same .

    Don’t panic! It’s only day 3 of 31!
My opinion is early business selling gives more time to buy with less vulnerability to others that we are desperate and will pay more and thus end up with no one cos we won’t spend what they want. We’ve been here before with hourihane late in window. We have enough cover of equal quality if not better for Potts. It gives us a far better chance to purchase better than current and make profit.
Personally I’d of been cheeky and asked for a swap with Pearson - reet engine in him!
I hope there is a plan to get better, there is certainly time to do it rather than previous when we had 48hours!

Who do you have in mind of equal quality if not better for Potts?

Fair point Animal. For the record I don't agree with the sale of one of our best players in the middle of a promotion push, I find it difficult to understand and it doesn't make any sense but let's see what happens is all I was saying mate. You'd think something would be in the pipeline.
