For what it's worth, here's my take:

1. It is irrelevant what fans think. JS famously said regarding fan opinion: "F*** the fans".

2. AH should simply not get involved. Look, we know "it's my money" but no good will ever come out of trying to slug it out with fans. We are emotional idiots! AH, you need to take a few deep breaths, sink a beer; think "just nothing to be gained by getting involved in all this 5hit".
