Weel, we hae come up wi a decent proper mannies Scotland XI ...... Nae huge interest in a Scottish League XI, but a pretty solid 'build fae the back' starton a Dons XI ....

Lewis .... (my suggestion, as yet unchallenged/undisputed)
Kennedy Miller McLeish, Rougvie ... (Donsdaft, as yet unchallenged/undisputed)

Simmie, Cooper .... (redstarfk, as yet unchallenged/undisputed)

.... so still at least four mair places tae fill

... so fae holdin mid, tae 'up top', I suggest candidates fae .... Osborne, Bisconti, Robb, Big Dunc, and 3 Scotts - Severin, Booth .. an' Jocky.

    Lee Richardson for midfield?

    And McGhee for up front.

For the Scottish one, what about Alex Edwards of Hibs. He was definitely a nutter.

I dinna think the Dons back line is as cut and dried as stated above.

Ally "iron man" Shewan and Jim "Chalkie" Whyte were proper, mannies' plaaaaaars.

Too much emphasis on 80’s here. What about Ally Shewan , tough as they come and never dirty. And Willie Cooper. Now both then were proper fitba players.
