Arite Buc, the total exports for 2017 was valued at over £4.6 billion, that's a helluva lotta revenue heading to Westminster.

London Economy? I suppose it makes a change from demonising 'Westminster'

No, I don't have the figures. Nor do i have the figures the London tourism generates for the Aberdeen Economy

I don’t know exactly how the distribution of wealth is made up from tourism, I do know that we, as in Scotland, get approx 15 million visitors and London approx 20 million visitors, with this I would imagine London contributes more, obviously.........much like they do with energy revenue and I dare say whisky......or am I getting that wrong?

Ah Jupiter, I stand corrected, there is no vat or export duty on whiskey which is exported, so this would mean that the only taxation would be corporation tax on any profits the distillers make, this in turn would be paid to the UK government and not the Scottish government, correct me if I'm wrong pal.

    You're right.

I was a bit worried that you were one of those zoomers who believed the conspiracy theory about a tax on whisky exports.
