The problem the city of Dundee has is both teams having owners from the USA who's primary objective's are to make money,lets be honest here none of the people involved have any infinity with either club or legends from the past like Gilzean,Ure,Sturrock or Narey.Both team's are at their mercy.
At this present time i trust the owner's of Dundee FC more than our owner because they have been in the boardroom longer and they have never to my knowledge mentioned a merger,i have no idea what our new owner has in store for United.

Nah don’t agree! The problem the City of Dundee has is that both teams at present are sh*te. We need both teams to be in the top league, then it doesn’t matter where the owners of each club are from, as they will see the real passion of both sets of fans in full unadulterated glory, especially in the derby games. Once they’ve seen that a mergerer would be far away from their minds.

That's because they are jaded after the last couple years of us having a major dip at this time of year, and all the poor signings over recent years, I reckon Neilson will do much better when it comes to signings given the chance

However it's a fact, we have gained on both teams above us and looking at fixtures next week then things could get interesting if we improve and get the win
