Thread: What's going on?

  1. #1

    What's going on?

I don't get what Robbie was up to last week. Slates the players in the press after the match versus Alloa telling the fans there was no point in going mental in the dressing room as the players that let us down won't be playing again. Then tells us through the media about splitting the training so the players that have been told they won't be playing are training separately. Next match, pretty much the same squad and team playing as last week. On top of that Curran is on the bench even though he was leaving a couple of hours later to sign for the fun?

Funny you didn't ask this during Csaba's reign of hell

I personally am glad he said what he did, a lot the same players reverting to pre Neilson form, it's showing the new owner he needs backed to start making his own signings to compliment the free decent players at have

Looking at things positively we have gained on top spot this weekend

I think he was looking for a reaction and didnt get it soon enough. But 3 changes, excepting Fyvie for Watson, Aird for King and Smith for Curran with rumours of both being in the second squad kinda show something. If Curran wasnt on the bench, then there would have been no cover for Safranko, so maybe there is someone inbound that had allowed Curran to leave?

If Robbie was looking for a reaction he certainly didn't get it first half today. They downed tools, infact buried them and let Thistle run all over us. Disgraceful stuff and compare that to the first half at Firhill in Robbie's first game in charge.
Only when the new boy Nesbitt came on did we create anything. Didn't clap them off at the end like some as we literally threw away the chance to gain three points on both the leaders.

That's because they are jaded after the last couple years of us having a major dip at this time of year, and all the poor signings over recent years, I reckon Neilson will do much better when it comes to signings given the chance

However it's a fact, we have gained on both teams above us and looking at fixtures next week then things could get interesting if we improve and get the win

    United v Dunfermline
    Inverness v Ayr Utd

Can you think of any explanation as to why Curran may have been in the squad? Just don't get it, I'd have given Smith a chance as #9 if we are looking for an alternative to Safranko.

Bad result today, only positives are we gain where everyone else didn't, Robbies first signing looked no bad, hopefully a few more bodies in for next wkend.
We're 6 points off the top which is frankly a f*cking miricale the amount of sh*te that bumbling Hungarian t*t has left behind.

Last week (somehow) it was (just) 7 points behind. Now after a poxy 1-1 at home to PT its 6 points surely counts as a miracle indeed. By the middle of February we might be joint top!

Robbie said on zone that his comments last week were directly mainly at the squad players who should be pushing to be playing and putting pressure on the ones who are playing but they are not.
