MillersMad Matchthread - Man City v The Millers FA Cup

A great Churchillien speach is needed but what can you say really?

This was the bestestist and worstestist draw we could have hoped for. Pick you whits against the best team in the country and yes I can see every Scouser seething at this but it is true!

Rotherham United are up against the best team in the country and one that would beat most international teams as well!

So what can we hope for? A roughed up pitch which looks like a tractor has gone down it like in the olden days when woolen undies were the rage. Bloody not likely! We have the best pitch in our division and we even mess about with that to gain an advantage! Ask Franky Lampoon or Wilder if you're in doubt. Alas we're not in charge of the grass!

What we are sure of is that regardless of what happens today our players will have run their blood to water chasing everything they can. We may actually give Man City something they've not had this season and that is a surprise of how we adapt to their play.
We're not going to win because the bookies are always right but we will get a great big dollop of respect from them, their fans and everyone around the world who will tune in to this match.

Let us enjoy the day! If we lose so what. If we draw we'll welcome them back to NYS and if we win I'll show my arse in Woolworths window the next time I'm over!

Everyone is looking forrud t that I can tell!
