    Ardley post match interview

Wow what a post patch interview.Sounded exasperated, low on energy and blamed the players. Said common denominator this season is the players. He said forwards did nothing but lose the ball , defence lost their man for goal, midfield showed no desire or quality and really says we are deep in it. Be afraid! Be very afraid

That says it all! Why was Stead marking the man when we had 3 centre halves on the pitch?

Apart from the goal though the defence played well imo. They stopped Cambridge from creating any goal scoring opportunities but on the other hand we created nothing either.

Stead's been giving a masterclass in losing the ball for the past 4 years. Maybe we have a manager at last who can see past the 'good lad' 'great pro' bull**** and call it as it is.

My 16 year old son summed up today perfectly. Dad we were not that bad, bad then again we were not that good either.

Should have let him go to America. He doesn't win any headers, his control is crap and never looks like scoring..

Everyone or most slated Kewell when he laid the blame at the door of the players...
Looks like he was right after all....and perhaps should have been given more time to manage the club as he saw it....!

I feel the same coming back from watching that. Yes and all of what he said was right. The players have failed all season yet some people still think it’s the manager that is the problem, even though we’ve had three and a caretaker and amongst them all we’ve only got 21 points from 28 games.

We’ve had one good week all season when we won three games in a row. Take that away and it really has been horrifically poor regardless of whether it’s been Nolan, Kewell, Chettle or Ardley.

No more places to hide for this squad now.

No, he would've boarded the wrong plane and ended up in Syria or somewhere
