Yes I rememba that farce Ponte , in all possibility that could happen darn here , would they be so hard faced to do that ? Aside from that , what if Adam Davies ( like him or not ) got offered a contract elsewhere , so far he hasn't been offered a new contract down here ? , we would be in real trouble with no experienced back up Goalie , would the lad at Forest be allowed back ? February 1st can't come quick enough , as said previously by others , if we fail to get promoted or at least not top 6 , through selling players and not reinvesting , following the team will be pointless and costly to the club ,

This happens to clubs at all levels, we are not unique. It's very difficult to keep players once their head has been turned by clubs from a higher level. As a club you have to try and have players on decent longer term contracts if possible and negotiate decent sell on clauses. You can turn down offers but every club will have a limit and once players know there is interest, it's difficult, because if you turn the offers down you will get players who are not happy and believe they are been held back.

We do the same to clubs from lower levels when we take players, it's just the way it is, players go and players come in. I believe we have learned with our previous signings and they have had longer contracts which gives you more bargaining power.

are you happy with all this Swazer ? It's the supposed met players release clause , always undisclosed , is nobody capable on Our Board to say no release clause so on your bike ? Fans are bound to get suspicious , nothing as i've seen been released about Potts and any clause by the Club , i may be wrong !!
