Have to agree, Brunt and Kanu were the weak links. If only they would pay the money and get Dack into that midfield. Then Philiips back in to replace Kanu. Then losing Barnes would not seem such a kick in the balls.

A previous posted issue for me...Darren’s reluctance to make substitutions unless forced. Very frustrating and clearly he has a design not to change.
As other posters have commented, Brunt and Kanu were the weak links. Undoubtedly they perform well in training and thus get into the starting line up. But early substitutions may have avoided the loss of 3 points.
Having said that, it was an energetic performance and no complaints about commitment.
I share the view that Brunty should not automatically get every spot kick...not least to create a different flight from a right footer.
Not sure quite what happened with their goal ? It looked like a mistake somewhere ? Was Johnstone at fault ?
Some great performances though, Gibbo, Hegasi, Mason, Harper, Barry, Dawson and a great steal from Gayle.
