I think you're safe enough to say that.

I mind when he was spouting some of his usual drivel (probably about DNA being a con or the DNA funds going in to Milne's personal bank account) he was asked for evidence to back up his claims. His response was to say that his posts about it WAS the evidence. And I think he must have been serious because there wasn't his usual sticky-oot-tongue emoji

Don't forget the financial gap between us and the weegie bigots was a lot less in Donald's days.
    Jeezo.

I will leave politics in football to the old scum.

One Chairman had the ambition to take on the old scum, the other not so much.....

Dick Donald was pretty unpopular among the Aberdeen support until Fergie raised him to godlike status.

He wouldn't has sacked a manager unless absolutely pushed ( missing a match through being pished probably would have done it)

There's a picture somewhere of Smiffy being sacked.
Dick's got his " nae chuffed" face on.

The drive and ambition came from Anderson and Fergie - not Donald.

Dick even told Fergie it wouldn't be a bad thing thing if we lost a Cup Final cos he thought the players were getting carried away FFS.

Who has Milne employed to give us the same drive and ambition?

About the only thing Milne has got right in his time with us was warning the rest of the clubs to ignore the £ signs and choose Sky over Setanta. The decision by 9 league chairmen to choose an absolute joke outfit for the sake of an extra few million quid a year ****ed us over big, and led to the 11/1 voting rule on commercial deals, which he understandably supports to this day.

Pishing myself at folk getting upset that a gadgie who chooses Red_John as his online identity would say nasty things. Absolute scenes.

Nobody, the likes of Anderson and Fergie don't come around too often.

Cormack has said all the right things and his investment was very welcome - we'll see how it goes in the next few years.

Still cheaper than re-developing Pittodrie and having a separate training ground.
