I’ve said it quite a lot but I’m struggling to back it up every time I see him play.

He can’t ..

Tackle
Mark / follow a player
Head
Pass
Influence a game
Score

He adds nothing to the team

He doesn’t:

Prevent conceding goals
Assist goals
Score goals

No one could do worse than him, because he achieves nothing when he .,

Plays a full game
Half a game
A few minutes of a game

Having been a fan of Thomas when he has shown fleeting glimpses of his ability, sadly, I have to agree. A player we can no longer afford to carry, as several others are.

But what was this ability? Even in fleeting glimpses? What attributes gave you a positive impression?

I’m genuinely interested to try and unpick this players mystique .. what (even occasionally) was he good at doing?

If I was him, I would wake up every day full of excitement and enthusiasm because his life as a professional footballer are clearly numbered. I hope he has a good education to fall back on, for whatever career he decides to try next.

What Ability he is a Liability he is Garbage. Fact.

I can remember one good free kick goal, but not much else to be fair. He looked better as one of a front three in a 4-3-3 than he did as a "chalk on your boots winger", which is what he described himself to be at the start of the season. Problem is, he misses too many chances.
