At least he gave his all, you could not say that about most of the others.

Very sad to see him go while the likes of Brisley is still here... Who in God's name would join us in this state... We are in really big trouble and can not see us winning another game let alone the 10 or 12 we need to have a chance of staying up

Despite clearly being a centre-half he got asked to play right back some of time and still made a better fist of it then anyone else.

What Turley lacked in natural ability, he more than made up for in endeavour and determination. Two qualities that are invaluable when faced with our predicament and two qualities which are sadly lacking in many of his colleagues.

He also says in his " tweet" that he isn't going anywhere else, so I doubt if it was the "quality" of his contract.

... agree with others. How can you let a player of JT's character go when we have to stomach the likes of the spineless failure Duffer (even allowing for more recent ok'ish performances). Why don't we keep him on a match-by-match contract.

Indeed. Pity we have to let someone like Turley go in order to improve the squad. Of those remaining there are few that offer his determination, strength and commitment to the cause.

Don't buy into the argument about Tootle being better, can't see anything about him that fills me with any confidence, & Barclay is still raw and looked somewhat limited in possession yesterday.

We have a lot of very similar players, changing the team and formation is merely rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

... there he goes again! FFS AH, shut the F up. Unprofessional to comment on a contract. You clearly not as bright as you think you are - well-meaning but naive.

One of the few players who gave fully committed performances for the club. Thanks for your efforts, and all the best for the future.
