Two WOW's this week

I've only seen the highlights, and on those he was pushing up in support of the strikers, which is his best role imo. But what was he doing for the 85 minutes I haven't seen, what position did Jeff actually play ?

He played on the right hand side of midfield in front of Bardsley but he did seem to have a bit of a free reign at times and was involved in a lot of good stuff going forward in the first half, including both goals. He had a very steady game yesterday and was well worth his place.

Cheers Sub, sounds like the sort of role I think he's best suited to, although most seem to think that's playing him out of his best position, which is at CM in front of the back four, which I think he's hopelessly unsuited to. Hopefully this upsurge in form continues, it'll be as good as a new signing if he continues to shine. And that first goal was his as well, ludicrous to say it was an own goal, it was going in with or without the defender touching it.

Haha you are right Lanky,my 50 years of being a season ticket holder and never missing a home match and not too many away apart from illness counts for nothing now that I don't attend.. Lol

Alf I not having that you are like me for matches and your length of supporting counts for a lot and of course so does your interest. You clearly have the passion - keep it going

Too true ---the only problem being that some of us are nearer that statement than others ---good job that I don't worry about it --que sera sera ----life is just a game!!
