Haven't you read posts from the Stags fans on here?

They are so good, it's a mere formality.

To be fair to Hardy, he tweeted "We've asked and he's going to L1 apparently".

That suggests it was Forest saying he's going to L1 rather than Hardy.

They'd rather loan him to Basford Utd than us.

... was it AH asking for Grant or NA asking AH to ask about Grant - only one or both AH/NA know the answer to that. We don't need him anyway - his form for us eventually went to 2/10.

Which still makes him look like an idiot if he is being given the runaround by Forest

There's plenty of people at the club that would be aware of Grant, including Neal Ardley considering he played against his Wimbledon side last season so he should be on his radar regardless. He's a talented player with a recent history here so I wouldn't see it as Hardy trying to make signings if that's what you're alluding to.

Pretty much every player, manager and owner would say the same.

Nolan and Notts in general dropped off the boil in that second half, not just Grant. In a winning side, like Notts were in that first half of the season, I think he'll do well. Everyone at Stags is enjoying their football at the moment, so the environment should help him thrive. Anyway, I'm delighted with the signing!
