Good quality pair of signings. Bringing in good signings in January when you are pushing for promotion. Novel idea.

From Leigh Curtis web chat in the post.

I hear on the grapevine that Forest’s chief exec is extremely pally with John Radford.

    Nuff said.

And his Mrs i would guess.
Grant might back fire for them goes missing when its tough not the best at tracking back and quick to loose his head, at least we have got Milly eh, fo king doomed we are.

Yeah they're pally, but it's not like Radford is trying to do Hardy over. When I spoke to JR recently he said he felt sorry for AH with all the bad luck he's had with managers and he seemed sincere. I think he's just taking advantage of Hardy's balls up.

    Yeah, it might catch on!

They've made two quality signings there to push for promotion. Whilst not being the biggest fan of Grant, I can imagine him slotting very well into their side and scoring a hatful of goals.

Makes me fume to think where we were 12 months ago... and we brought in a crocked Mason Bennett and Matty 'I'm Running Through Treacle' Virtue.

It's all falling in place nicely for stags when they visit meadow Lane in a few weeks

Agreed - just a question of how many.

Haha yeah, I thought the same. It seems that this season is just one long 'if it can go wrong, it will' moment, designed to be as disheartening as possible.

Good signing for them though. He's the type of player that'll turn draws into wins - just what they need. I can see them kicking on for automatic now. At least one Nottinghamshire club is having a good time!

Crazy how low Notts have fallen since last January, when it all started to slowly unravel. I mean we're like a different club now, with a different profile. I still wonder what would have happened if Forest hadn't recalled Yates, and Bennett hadn't got inured on his first start. But we are where we are, and we deserve to be for sure.

Bennett getting injured was inevitable, the guy is made of glass (hence is currently out now), he was a big gamble that we were always likely to lose our money on imo, it was just a case of seeing how many games we could get out of him before it happened and it turned out to be two.

Good uck to JG, decent young man and will probably do well for them. I'd have taken him back but suspect he's not the type for a battle, which is what we need IMHO.
