    £39 million

Allegedly the sum that we should have to spend in Jan as worked out by football finance journalists at Vysyble.

Article is the chronicle, which makes it a bit dodgy but it's not their working out, which maybe gives it a bit of truth/believability.

Beggars belief that people think Ashley is still a good businessman. Maybe he once was but managers, players, actors...people in all walks of life....lose that mojo, whatever they had that used to make them good at what they did. The sharpness disappears, decisions aren't made for the right reasons. their ego makes them think they're always right despite all the evidence pointing to otherwise...there are loads of reasons why people stop being what they once were so I don't see any problem saying that he's not a good business man now, certainly not as far as being a football businessman is concerned.

He has also had an element of luck by getting into the right place at the right time but by the way he hasn't taken the opportunities to have used the massive potential of this cub to further expand the advertising of his love child proved beyond doubt that he has failed as an astute businessman.

By just using the financial structure within the club we would have been successful under Rafa and thus he would have had much more exposure as well as the sale of the club being a much more viable proposition.
