I think the most telling statement from today's presser was Bielsa's statement, that although watching an opponent train prior to a game doesn't help with his team prep/tactics, it does help his "anxiety".
I suspect that his obsessive attention to detail, not just his coaching, but also his behaviour (ie picking up the litter at Thorp Arch) is his way of dealing with "anxiety". If he's in control of 'everything' then his anxiety reduces. It is his NEED.
