Our bid which was very near to be taken was 1.2 don't know where you got your 2.5 from pal.

We had the chance to get him earlier on than that, but Millwall snapped him up for £250,000 which few don't know about.

He had a dreadful back four in front of him on his debut, including Halford playing at full-back... with predictable consequences. Never really recovered in his time at the NYS after that

Mike the same SE that took us up twice. Kept us up first season and looked like keeping us up again but still left because bloods thicker than water?

Short memory pal. Warne has yet to perform the same to be classed as good as Evans.

Warne does has my full support and I truly hope he manages to keep us up this season.

SE did well for us overall, although with a relatively bigger budget than Warney has got - we wouldn't have a hope of staying up with that back four though! Why were we starting that season in such a shambolic state? Plug pulled on finances probably...
