    Swans v Sheff Utd

A run of home games coming up with the cup game sandwiched in between.
Couldn’t be tougher this Saturday, late kick off at 17:30 in front of the Sky cameras.
It’s second placed Sheffield Utd, who are five league matches undefeated, 4 straight wins, and only 4 goals conceded.
Psychologically we have an advantage in that we won at their place in August, but then again they will be looking for revenge.
Carroll is back in training but probably to early for him to return this week. Other than long term injury Olsson no fresh injuries that we know of.
Tough one to call this, hoping for a win but expecting a draw.

A good win for the Swans after a game of two half’s. First half the Blades passed the ball well and outplayed the Swans, missing two chances to score from Sharp and McGoldrick.
Second half it was a different story, with James replacing Routledge, McBurnie moving out to the wing and James playing centrally.
Twenty minutes in, Dyer crossed a low ball into the box after beating his man for McBurnie to slide the ball home.
Two more chances were well saved by Henderson in the following minutes. Blades made a late rally but Swans held out to do the double.
Only negative was young centre back Rodon, who went off after ten mins injured. He has broken his metastarsil and will be out for 6 weeks. His replacement Carter-Vickers, on loan from Spurs, had a very good game.

The metatarsal bones, or metatarsus are a group of five long bones in the foot, located between the tarsal bones of the hind- and mid-foot and the phalanges of the toes.

Exciting match yesterday. Sheffield United played attacking football and it was good to watch. All teams are aware of our playing out from the back and go with a high press to neutralise it, and so it was yesterday. Each time Mulder took the long kick option we lost possession so I can see why we persist with it.
We were also a bit shot shy around the box, our players passing instead of shooting. Shoot and you may get a deflection otherwise eventually being dispossessed.
I liked their big no5, he was the pivot for United, and aimed high balls into the box, which were incessant at the end as they desperately tried for an equaliser.
