I described it as a 'vision' sold by Leave rather than a 'promise'. Would you deny that was their aim? So with a bit more clarity two and a half years down the line, what do you think Brexit will mean for the NHS?

    1. Better funding and shorter waiting lists.
    2. Less funding in real terms, a staff crisis, and a poorer service.

Going on about the promises/warnings/lies from the side of a referendum that lost is so unutterably stupid. It’s the lies of the side that won that matter. Cos, you know, maybe that’s why they won. Populist politics is literally people making promises they know they can’t keep.

If neither side is interested in another referendum, and no other agreement looks likely, A50 should be revoked. Literally everyone who knows anything about this thinks no deal will be a disaster. Give us some time to look at this again.

Here is a link to the debate on various relevant petitions the other day and the speech given by Graham Stringer (Labour). It is well worth a listen though he isn't the most charismatic speaker he covers some very valid points.

A decision she's said since was a big mistake.
Is a left wing Labour party electable though? The only time Labour has been really electable ( ie actually got elected ) in the past 40 years is by moving to the middle ground.

Forgive the use of capital letters, but ALL REMOANERS SHOULD TAKE TIME TO LISTEN TO THIS MAN. If ever we needed some clarity from all the cr.p, here it is.

Or you want away from that, which may mean a cold hard break.

In 72 we was told we was joining a club of 9 nations who would do wonderful free trade among ourselves.
Seems that may mean to have been a little bit of a fib
My puzzlement comes from the fact nobody seems to know what’s best for this country apart from those who have a vested interest and self opinionated version.
I admit I voted after trying hard to get scraps of information from anywhere and felt uncomfortable doing so as I didn’t feel informed. I’ve since tried hard to inform myself and am no further down that line than Notts are to 3 points !
All I see, and it’s reflected on this board are people having power struggles and only interested in what’s best for them.

I think MPs should go for the option that they think benefits their constituents most, whatever that happens to be.
MP's should ignore their constituents and go for the option he/she thinks is best? Really?
Like Soubry and Spencer? Both 'representing' Leave constituencies.
One lives with a director of a large supermarket chain and has Ken Clarke's hand up her **** working her mouth and one (a Government Whip, no less) is a farmer!

Both working had for their constituents and have their best interests at heart Hahahaha........,......

Similar funding to what we've had for years (an increase, but not enough to cope with an ageing population). Waiting lists will still be long, but will only get longer if we leave. The Tories will still be in power so the NHS is unlikely to improve, I just think leaving will cause bigger problems.

Do you remember that video about the NHS (can't be arsed to link it) that the Leave campaign used before the vote? The Remain NHS had a cold, grey waiting room packed with migrants with miserable faces. The Leave NHS had a couple of smiling white families in a bright, airy room attended by cheerful staff. That sort of lie won them votes, but it will look a sick joke in a couple of years.

    Why was it a 'fib'?

Was it ever said 'And that's the way it will remain for ever'?

    Surely everything changes and develops.

In 1888 Notts County were one of the founder members of the Football League. But that grew to 92. Perhaps it should not have been allowed to change?
