    Perez

    Shiite as he has been....

He has came on as sub twice against Blackburn, and looked way ahead of that level both times.

Won the pen in the 1st game and scored within seconds in the replay.

He is poor, but we have nobody better.

Muto has been awful Murphy hasn't came on at all really and Robert's isnt quite up to that level.

Maybe longstaff is our only other option at no 10?

Perez it is then I guess.

He has 38 goals in approx 180 apps.

One every 4.7 times he enters the pitch.

His goals per 90 mins will be better still.

Crap or not.... his £2m transfer fee and what we got for the money is exactly what Ashley is looking for from every transfer.

Rock bottom fees for average players, to over achieve on a shoestring budget.

Both Joselu and Riviere cost 3 times what Perez did, and they are the more accurate indication of what you get for your money.

Aye, you've made your point well, Mick.

Compared to those last two you've mentioned, he's streets ahead. It's frustrating that he hasn't kicked on in the way a lot of us thought he would but he's the best option in the position he plays...hence why he plays so often.

I think he needs to stop the fingers in ears celebration now although it lasted a second or so the other night. He has scored some crucial goals for us in his time here and as said much better value than the other two named together.

I think his lack of challenge for his spot makes him a bit lax.

But aye point well made Mick.
