Incidents like these make me embarrassed to be a football fan. The trouble is thugs like these can also be found in most cities especially at night. They will probably serve nowhere near the time sentenced and get on with their lives whilst for the rest of his life Simon will probably need full time care.

    exactly davee

A bunch of Newport fans tried to intimidate me and my son bit I went full on and they backed down but it's when you are jumped by a group intent on proving something to the others with them is when it goes real daft

A few years back I worked with a women who followed Fulham home and away. One of the blokes she used to go with was killed at an away game at Gillingham. As much as I love football it is crazy that going to a game can cost you your life.

    that's awful davee

And I have never been a true hooligan and infact i bet i have stopped more aggro than being part of it.

I stopped a bunch of our lot attacking two brighton fans one xmas. I told them if they start on them I will start them (my own fans) as the brighton lads were young scarf wearers

Plymouth hate us because one of theirs got kicked to death at ours

Lazaat was chased all round London by Fulham
