He could plan an escape from relegation, the number of points needed are no more than we got two years ago from the end of Jan onwards (because we avoided it by miles), and the team is no worse. But obviously, now as then, something has to change. He sacked Sheridan, brought in a new manager with recent contacts (mates really) in the game and made some signings which dragged a bit more out of the rest of the shower we had (some of them are the same ones, which is incredible after 2 years).
Right now though, he's sulking because people aren't bowing down to him, and he's fallen out with the most important source for loans.
Maybe a player manager might help, because you get a free player thrown in and they are grateful because it opens the door to a new career. It didn't work with Nolan because he had been on the ale. Is Marcus Rashford too young to go into management?
