Kewell and Ardley both inherited Nolan's sh*t squad but at least Kewell got some results and a decent run of form out of them for a few games. Ardley has now had 19 days to change the squad somewhat, that's more than Kewell got when he brought in Turley and Evina.

I'm yet to see anything from Barclay to say he's a better option than Turley, as limited as he was, by the way and where the f*ck even is Elliott Ward? What's he doing? Is he injured? Is his contract up? Are we trying to avoid an extension via clause?? It's a f*cking shambles.

All l can add is that in my 68 years of support this appears to be the first time the whole of the squad does not give one iota, Sad but True. On the other hand the eternal optimist in me says there are 17 games left we must keep trying, it is still doable. C.O.Y.P.

Nolan saddled us with an unbalanced and unfit squad which Kewell showed signs of getting to grips with. It does appear that the players didn't like him and were quite happy to see him go and make their life easier.
I don't know if Ardley is the answer but he's got to be given the chance to build his own squad.
