    v Cheltenham player ratings

Not a great game and thankfully Cheltenham were very poor. At the same time, given the changes we played OK and if we can get 3 decent players in we should be thereabouts at the end of the season

    Collin, 7
    Miller 5
    Grainger 5
    Parkes 7
    Gerrard 7
    Slater 5
    Etuhu 6
    Sowerby 7
    Devitt 8
    McCarron 5
    Hope 6.

Simpson - I thought he looked decent with good feet, some pace and the ability to head a ball.

I was on the M5 when that was played, but interesting hearing Presley’s interview on BBCRC when he said that he could bring 5 in. We need pace at the front, but also cover at the back. If we lose Sowerby or (God forbid) sell Devitt then we must replace like for like, otherwise I’d leave the midfield alone. Jones will have to step up if needed. Miller got mixed reviews and we Don’t know how Liddle’s injury will affect him so cover there is a must.
