How did we not get 5 in the opening 15 minutes? Excellent form the off. We bossed the first half and their one real chance, which Swift put wide, came on the counter and he had the chance because he was central in our box 10 yards from goal and nobody picked him up. Something that often happens when we concede.

Right through the 90 minutes they looked dangerous down the wings because both full backs, as per usual kept moving 30 yards infield leaving the wide man all the time and space he needs to be a danger. We really have to stop doing that.

Good game to watch and an 8-3 scoreline wouldn't have done either side an injustice.

Roos looked assured, showed what Dutch keepers do, play football. They are taught, from an early age, to use both feet and act as a sort of sweeper in open play. That is why his distribution is better than Carson's. Not at fault for their goal. No idea why Carson was out today but Roos deserves the Accrington Cup tie next week IMO.

Bogle had a good game. The odd mistake here and there but the biggest is being too far infield but that isn't his fault. He is playing to orders.

Keogh was a proper workhorse again. A couple of failed clearances when under pressure but others made them as well. He had a good game.

Tomori was immense. Just one mistake that stood out and unfortunately that was the misplaced pass that allowed Aloku to score

Malone very good again. As with Bogle, is major problem are the orders he plays to.

Holmes was da bomb for 20 minutes then took more of a backstage role but was still everywhere and doing his bit.

Hudds was good. Lost the ball on a couple of occasions when surrounded by 3 or 4 opponents but he put in a dozen important tackles.

Mount is about back to his best. No need to say more.

Wilson. A goal and an assist and fouled about 20 times, 4 of which were given. 'arry's still on fire.

Marriott. Might have had 3 in the opening 10 minutes. For 2 of them Waggy was in space with the goal beckoning but, he did what strikers do, He took the shot. Should have passed to the unmarked Waggy.

Waghorn. Everywhere. Attack. Defence. Tackling. Passing. Shooting. Top performance. My MOTM.

Reading looked as bad as their League position would suggest for 20 minutes. After that they looked more durable and more dangerous but still no match for Derby.

Still 6th, just 1 point behind Boro and the Baggies and just the 4 behind 3rd placed Sheff U. Only 2 ahead of 7th though

7 points ahead of 11th so they will, yet again, have to "mind the gap"
