Thread: Hendrick rejuvenated...

    Hendrick rejuvenated...

Watching Hendo at present is like having a new player. Tall, elegant and great on the ball, working his socks off and looking a very potent threat.

McNeil and Hendrick give us width and provide those essential early balls that defenders hate and centre forwards love.
Don't know what SD is feeding Hendrick on but his turnaround in form is astonishing.

Perhaps SD should stop putting square pegs in round holes and play the lads in their proper positions?

Hopefully Sean will have some decisions to make next week.

If JBG and Brady are available then who plays? Hendrick or JBG and McNeil or Brady?

I think Eastwood and Cork are playing too well to leave out in CM.

    Defour is also a possibility.

Sean will be watching them in training and we have to trust him.

It's got to be as per programme, same eleven picking itself, but SD has little interest in the Cup competitions so it maybe:

Pope, Lowton, Gibson, Long, Ward, JBG, D4, Cork, Brady, Vydra and Vokes.

Don't think that will be too far away BT. I'm certain he will be prioritising the United match.

    Shooting practice this week!

"Tall, elegant and great on the ball,"

Was he not tall before ? Or has he grown a bit as well, that could explain his improved form.

"Perhaps SD should stop putting square pegs in round holes and play the lads in their proper positions?"

That's a bit harsh isn't it BT ? There are plenty of us on this forum who think they might have all the answers, me included, we know what team he should pick, what tactics he should use, when the substitutions should be made, etc, etc. but despite this vast accumulation of knowledge and experience, not one person on this msgboard has ever suggested that playing Hendrick on the right wing was the way to improve performances and win football matches.

We all knew on here sinkov that Hendrick is never going to be a number 10. In the Euros he was playing wide left and swapping with Brady and he looked potent.
His demeanour has changed, that's why he is standing tall again, a lot like Rashford's new found confidence at United.
    Funny old game is football!
