Hristov , Tinkler and Krizan were proper garbage Hodger I agree .

Darren Barnard from third division Bristol City was the pick of the summer signings by a country mile which just emphasises your point .

Agreed, although not a pre season signing I thowt another English lad we brought in Ashley Ward was a very good signing.

It's ironic though the criticism of our premiership foreign imports, think back to the year afooar when we signed Bosancic, Marcelle and a few month before them two we signed DeZeeuw. All three were an integral part of our promotion to the premier league. Wilson had previous success going down that route and gambled on the likes of hristov, tinkler, marksted, krizan on the back of the success he had with foreign signings in the promotion season. Unfortunately these proved to be a complete waste o snap.

Bosancic was a better player then I think he was ever given credit for .

I remember the 4th round cup tie against Spurs at White Hart Lane when we were a goal down and Wilson took Tinkler off at half time who was embarrassing to be fair and fetched Jovo on .

He ran the midfield in the second half , he was absolutely brilliant that day and we equalised with a Redders penalty , best man on the pitch and Ginola was in midfield for Spurs that day to boot .

I think the difference with Jovo, De Zeeuw and Marcelle is that they didn't come for the Premier League 'pot of gold'.
They came and showed they were up for a battle at Port Vale.
It helped ground them as well playing in a squad full of local lads.
They earned their season in the spotlight.

Agree, very technically gifted midfielder and on his day didn't look out of place among the elite.

If that Steve Mounie is worth £14m then Keiffer Moore must be a £10m player and I'm not his biggest fan as people know on here .
