Sam is now 2nd top scorer in the league and only 1 behind play-doh face. Brilliant stuff.

If he keeps it up and gets to double figures he will be off in the summer for a few million to the guff Div 1.

That's the bonkers world we live in.
You're right - we could have a real asset on our hands. To be fair, I think the criticism was justified early on and he was never going to be given the benefit of the doubt given his (lack of) previous record and pedigree. But he's thriving now that our form has picked up. He's never going to be a complete forward but then what did Rooney contribute to our general play?

Deffo Ferguson with 3rd, Cosgrove header cleared off line and landed at fergie who poked it in

    That's what I thought .
Very pleasing win ,particularly Sam's second goal stroking it in with real confidence.
A few of the other teams results adding to a very successful night for us

The good thing about Cosgrove scoring for fun is not the scrappy goals, nor the headers as he should be winning them all day long, it's the fact he's scoring the ones that need a bit of composure to finish.

It's the ones where the balls on the ground and he's 1 on 1 with the keeper. We've not had someone you'd put money on to score them since Rooney.

Yep, just seen the highlights on Sky.

An absolute pearler of a save from Lewis.
    Cosgrove first goal scrappy.
Cosgrove second goal excellent after cutting in from the right and stroking home.
Ferguson definitely scored the third (don’t know if he celebrated).

    Saturday is a big game.

Very good result at a ground that has been a nightmare.
    Hamilton is a soulless dump
    Sh1te ground
    Dreadful pitch
They bring nothing to the league.
    Get them to f**k.

    As for us?
    Poor first half.
Good 20 mins in 2nd half, then petered out and game died.

    Good night all in.
    Scum beaten
    Hearts beaten.

Good enough result tonight against what must be the poorest Hamilton team I have seen for long enough. Not taking anything away from the victory though as you can only beat what is in front of you. Sam Cosgrove getting a double is good for him and hopefully he takes it into the next match. Well done Dons especially since McInnes doesn’t have the best of records down in Hamilton.
