You will be lucky Mickd, left Brisbane this morning myself no way you are going to be anywhere near a cold shiver in Oz at the moment. In NZ now and even hot here. Enjoy while you can.

Very cool in Perth tonight down by the Quay Yarm....wearing a hoodie for the first time since arriving in Oz!

What a lovely city though,my favourite so far.....I’m gonna stay here for a month next year all being well.

Very unusual to be cold there Mick but great that you love the city. Can’t ever having the need for a hoodie in over 10 years of visits.

Hope you like the Lucky Shag. Get up to Kings Park and have a great relaxing walk. Sure to be better hotter tomorrow. We arrive there in 3 weeks time but plenty to do over here in NZ before then so not thinking that far ahead.

Open top bus takes you up to Kings Park Mick. I would strongly recommend Miss Mauds in Murray Street. All you can eat buffet is outstanding.

I went to Perth some 9 years ago and as others have said, it is a great place. King Park is a must.
There was a bus that tours a circle of the city - you just hopped on or off anywhere, and it was free.
Another place I would recommend is the Museum/Art Gallery. You'll come away from there feeling very sorry for what happened to the Aborigines but still very interesting.
