Aye. Bad news.
My uneducated guess based on what I've read is that it was mechanical. Flying conditions were good ans the pilot asked to reduce height fron 5000 feet. Apparantly Sala sent a whats app message to say he was scared and was in a plane that seemed like was falling to pieces. He made his own travel arrangements and wasn't a club booking.
A what could have been story. Sad.
