Woody is still one of the better defenders at the club and knows the game inside out. He would be an ideal coach after he hangs up his boots and maybe even Manager material.

You'd think that he'd be coaching now if he's got that much about him. He's the club captain but I doubt that apart from having a word in the ears of the young uns away from the training ground then he'll be along side the rest of them in defendsive training. If he talks as you'd think he would and they others don't get it then he has no authority.

He could help Ajayi with his offensive heading at corners for one thing.

Richard Wood was a great story last season, particularly towards the end and through the playoffs. It's getting to that point of the season again where we are looking for a hero to turn things around. Can he don the superhero cape again? One thing's for certain, even if his ability and speed are not up to the task we can count on him giving us 100% in heart and effort.

Or help Paul Warne with his offensive team selections.
