Shrewsbury Town v Wolves Matchday Thred

Nothing is a given in cup football and i'm expecting a tough game against Shrewsbury this afternoon. I'm also expecting quite a few changes as Wolves play West Ham at home on Tuesday evening.

Shrewsbury will be really fired up for this, it won’t be easy. As you say three games in eight days coming up so changes are inevitable. A win from this and four points from West Ham and Everton will do nicely 🤞

Damn, not on TV here and no streams, looks like it's Tim time again! Agree think it will be a "tough" game but hopefully we will make it through to the next round.

    Hi Woodie,

Don't know if you can get it on the net, but there is live commentary on BBC Radio 5

Windy day, bumpy field and Traore in the line up. Poor bugger can't control the ball under the best of conditions!

Wolves have settled a little more, as have Shrewsbury, they are trying to build sensibly from the back. I think Wolves will want to be a bit more positive with their passing, they are keeping it but not really getting any quality into Costa or Traore as of yet.

Shrewsbury have got a really good shape and it is causing Wolves some problems. They play with a back three but the two outside defenders push in onto the strikers and it isolates them.

That's a real chance, great play from Doherty on the far side to skip past two or three defenders, but Traore scoops it over the bar. That's probably the best chance we have had so far.
