Another 17 yr old set to join, what about some experience

Its great that our U23 squad is thriving & producing players - 3-4 have already made the step up, and another handful also not that far away, all homegrown. James the young lad from Swansea, quick / direct but again about 17, and a Polish midfielder 17, sound like possible targets, surely a bit of age / knowhow / league experience would be useful, to challenge / support current squad in run - in.

With current league form & some mega games coming up shortly, a couple of players with some Prem / Champ experience, alongside Clarke etc, might just be the balance needed over next 2/3 months. The league is going to be close right to the end, could a couple of "older heads" just be the difference come May.

I try to look at the good side.

at least we aren't selling! I think the is the first year in a long time we've not lost someone that was good enough to be offered good money.

would be nice to get one big signing in other than keep.

Its good that we are signing young players with promise/talent but surely we need quality players for now given the position in the league we are in..the lad from Swansea looks like it could be a goer.
